graduate schemes now open for 2012 entry

We’re not even out of August yet and already some companies are thinking about their recruitment for 2012.

It just shows how keen employers are to attract the best people by starting recruitment early so it’s very important that you don’t miss the boat. Closing dates for many schemes will be around the end of November 2011.

Some examples of schemes already open are:

BAE Systems have opened applications for their finance leader development programme.

RBS opened applications for their banking, markets, operations and technology graduate schemes at the beginning of August.

September

Asda and Marks and Spencer plan to release information on their 2012 graduate schemes from 1st September onwards.

RBS will open applications for their business and commercial banking, corporate & institutional banking and global transaction service schemes on 1st September.

The Civil Service will open for fast stream applications from 19th September.

The BBC also will open applications for their journalism trainee scheme on 26th September.

You can also pick up free copies of directories of graduate scheme vacancies from Careers and Employability towards the end of September. Employers will usually post graduate scheme vacancies on their own website so check their websites regularly.
