If you’re an international student and you are thinking about securing part-time work whilst at uni, or your future career options, here are some sites and resources you might find useful:

  1. The UKISA site http://www.ukcisa.org.uk offers a wealth of information on various issues including options after university, finding part-time work and reverse culture shock
  2. List of Government Approved Exchange Schemes
  3. Gradlink – Useful sources of graduate vacancies and advice: versions for India, Malaysia, China and Africa
  4. The UK Border Agency produce a list of employers who are licensed to sponsor migrant workers
  5. More than work Internationals – Useful information from NASES (National Association of Student Employment Services) – covers rights at work and advice on getting a national insurance number
  6. Careers and employability  – outlines the various services we offer and includes links to our jobs vacancy portal, and our resources
