Well done to Eli Mitchell (2nd Year Business Management) and Leon Wong (2nd year Creative Writing and English Literature) who completed their Work Based Learning placement with us here in Careers and Employability!
During their five week placement, Eli and Leon worked on projects to help us develop our Work Shadowing and Graduate Futures services. They also analysed data from a previous survey of students’ reasons for not using our service and produced a report for us. They presented the findings from the survey to the whole department and gave us some really valuable advice from a student perspective. We all enjoyed their presentation and were really impressed with their use of humour and interactive quizzes to deliver potentially dry material in a really enjoyable way. It was great to get a fresh perspective on our marketing and delivery of the service. Watch this space to see how we use their findings to increase students’ use of our services!
